I made it! It was very uneventful, the flight was shorter than expected and I had no trouble finding Gus, the guy from the orphanage who came to pick me up at the airport. We went to the fruit market this afternoon and I´ve never seen such huge piles of oranges, melons and bananas in my life! It was just people with their produce piled up on the streets and corners, very dirty but pretty cool. We bought 200 oranges for about $4 U.S.
The kids here are really cute, though about half of them are actually teenagers. One little boy probably around 7 years old was trying to carry my suitcase for me but he could barely pick it up it was so heavy. The little girls were laughing at him!
The people are pretty nice, told me to just take tomorrow to rest. I´m really homesick though and right nwo feeling like heading to some place like this all alone for 4 months may have not been the best idea. I miss everyone, especially Pablo and my family.
That´s about all for now, time to get some sleep after a long day of travelling. I hope these months pass by quickly... Miss you guys! Kel
