Not a whole lot to update on today, more of just the same. The kids today were fussier more than usual for some reason. As soon as I got one to stop crying there was another one there crying too and I’d have to go try to figure out what happened all over again. It’s nice to be learning Spanish with the little kids though cause they just talk to me like I understand everything haha. Though it’s harder to understand them, especially the shy quiet ones.
I was trying to help with lunch today but I guess I’m really not a big help in the kitchen haha. I wasn’t kneading the dough correctly and they laughed at the first tortillas I made. But after they demonstrated the correct technique it was a little easier and they said I’ll learn.
Exciting part of today is that I’m moving into my actual room! I’ll be sharing it with Jessica, the other SM, and she gets back on Monday next week so I’m looking forward to that a lot too. They never found another key for the door, so they just got a new lock for it haha. It looks pretty nice, she left me half of everything space wise so that’s cool. And we have a mini fridge for any chocolate I buy! There’s also directions on how to use the shower, I guess it will turn off after 5 mins so she said be quick. And don’t turn it on full blast or the power will go out…. Should be interesting J I’m gonna work on moving my stuff now, the only thing is that I can’t get the bathroom light to turn on!
